Nakiska Chalet is located about two miles off Rt. 219 between Elkins and Lewisburg, West Virginia. We're 1 hour south of Elkins, and about 1 1/2 hours north of Lewisburg.

When you drive in West Virginia, you'll enjoy our good road system, but it's a good idea to leave the mile-a-minute mentality at the border! Enjoy the slower pace imposed by our terrain. Here are some estimated driving times:
From Charleston, WV -- 3 1/2 hours
From Clarksburg, WV -- 2 1/2 hours
From Washington, DC -- 5 1/2 hours
From Pittsburg, PA --4 hours

**  Remember in the winter you're probably coming for great skiing. It doesn't just snow on the ski slopes. Come prepared for snow & icy conditions on the roads.
